As the title says, it’s been almost 20 years since I had nose surgery. Yes... honestly, it feels like only traces of it are left now. Back then, there was an artificial bone? material called Gore-Tex, and I was told it would look natural, so I used that. They said more than 60% of it would remain for life, but yes, that was confirmed total bullshit. It feels like flesh has filled in over it. And when I look at photos right after the surgery, it looked pretty in a completely different way from now, but that prettiness didn’t even last about 2-3 years. Now it really looks unbearable Scar tissue + the nasal tip became blunt, so I ended up with a bulbous nose After seeing my surgery and getting tempted by how defined the line looked right afterward, all my friends who had surgery at the same clinic as me have already had revision surgery. For me, the postoperative care and things like that were so painful that even now, almost 20 years later, it’s still traumatic, so I absolutely hate the bulbous nose in the middle of my face!! But I still can’t bring myself to get revision surgery and keep hesitating.........
