Consultation review for ㅊㅁ, ㅅㅇ, ㅍㄹㅁ

I’m a different case from many people here, so I’m not sure if this will help, but I received a lot of help from this community too, so I’ll try to contribute something!! My condition: 20 years ago, I only had silicone inserted in the nasal bridge / the nasal tip was not touched Most people have had surgery all the way to the nasal tip, so please use my review only as a reference Starting about a month ago, it swelled and developed a bluish bruise. The swelling went down, but the bruise stayed the same Conclusion I found out why the bruising happened, and it is not inflammation! Doctors differ in their opinions, saying it is contracture or it is not that severe But they all have the same conclusion that it needs to be removed! However, the surgical methods differ again!

ㅊㅁ - CT/photo imaging, consultation fee required - Consulted with the director right away / removal is easy, said I could even do it today and leave - Non-incisional removal, just take the silicone out and finish ㄴ Compared with how easy they said it was, the price was ㄷ ㄷ ㄷ but ㅅㅇ and ㅍㄹㅁ charge even more;;; - Me: I’m worried it will become too low if I remove it ㄴ For now, focus on removal. After you finish raising your child, consider revision surgery again. They gave realistic advice, and I was thankful for this part. When raising kids, you really get hit in the head a lot (this is my actual situation / I hope people who had nose surgery are careful during pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare) - When talking with the consultation manager after the consultation, rather than focusing on the surgical method, I felt the explanation about benefits when doing functional nose surgery together was longer

ㅅㅇ - CT/photo imaging, consultation fee required - Waited in the consultation room, then was guided to the director’s room - The director had so much presence / only said what needed to be said / I don’t want overtreatment either, but since I came for removal, the consultation focused only on removal Me: If I take out the silicone, won’t it be too low, and won’t my nostrils look more upturned?! ㄴ That depends on how you look at it. Me: (The concern I wrote above) Is there no way to touch it up a little more? ㄴ Whether it is removal or revision surgery, you need to choose that clearly and come back - Looking back now, the director was right!!! But I wondered if they could have considered a little more the feelings of a patient who has lived with this height for half her life - When talking with the consultation manager, they explained the surgical method in detail / silicone removal, capsule removal, nasal bridge/alar wing(?) repositioning / slight price benefit if agreeing to use partial photos - I can’t help but give extra points for the appeal that it is a Seoul National University alumni hospital

ㅍㄹㅁ - Ultrasound/photo imaging, consultation fee required - I had booked in advance, so there was not much waiting - Overall, it was patient-friendly(?) If ㅅㅇ felt like a cold hospital, the director and consultation manager here were warm Removal, smoothing the uneven nasal bridge, and covering it with material / if I definitely want to improve the columellar angle too, then revision surgery - They said after removing the silicone and capsule, the nose would become uneven, so they would smooth the nasal bridge and use some material called MegaDerm or something, but MegaDerm was a surgical method I was hearing about for the first time, so my head was about to explode - If I have a direction I want, I feel like they would suggest a possible surgical method

That’s what I could remember and wrote down!
