I’ve already had open rhinoplasty twice, and now I’m looking into removal because the silicone in my nasal bridge is moving! I went for a consultation at PRM yesterday, and they said the movement itself means the surgery was done incorrectly, so they would remove the nasal silicone and only refine the nasal tip (using the existing autologous costal cartilage) and leave it as is. They said my nasal tip used autologous costal cartilage + septal cartilage! At the previous hospital! What I’m worried about now is... I don’t have contracture, a deviated columella, or any kind of inflammation, and my original nose was very low and wide, so they said if I remove everything it won’t look good aesthetically, and it would probably be better to leave only the nasal tip. Has anyone here left only the nasal tip?! I’d be really grateful if you could also share information about other hospitals
