Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month update after revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage at Vimin

My nose was crooked, so my nostril asymmetry was really severe. On top of that, my nasal tip drooped, making it look like a long nose, which kept bothering me. I didn’t want to have revision surgery at the place where I had my first rhinoplasty, and this time I wanted to do it properly, so I looked into autologous costal cartilage. I had it done at Vimin Plastic Surgery. During the consultation, they said the crooked part and the drooping nasal tip needed to be corrected together. Since they were harvesting autologous costal cartilage, the surgery itself was on the bigger side (that’s just my opinion). Right after surgery, there was a lot of swelling, so honestly I couldn’t tell anything. My rib area felt a bit stiff and sore, so it was uncomfortable to move around for a few days. Around 2 weeks in, I could see that my nose was set straight, though there was still swelling.. Still, as someone who has had rhinoplasty before, I got a strong feeling that it turned out well lol Of course, now the swelling has gone down a lot, and I think the nose itself looks prettier? As the nasal tip lifted slightly upward, the long-nose look disappeared. The straight-to-slightly-curved line came out well, so it looks clean from the side. There’s still a bit of residual swelling left, but it’s continuing to go down. I was really worried because it was a revision surgery, but I think it turned out well, yeah
