Eye Surgery Reviews

3 months after double-eyelid revision surgery, no one can tell I had surgery

I wrote a review at 1 month after getting revision surgery because my eyelid kept coming undone, and now I’m leaving a 3-month review too~ I had my first double-eyelid surgery in my early 20s, and after 13 years, my left eye came undone. At first, I got by using double-eyelid tape, but at some point, even tape wouldn’t create the crease anymore, and it felt like the skin on my upper eyelid was sagging I felt like I couldn’t put it off any longer, so this winter I went around to consultations and found Uni Plastic Surgery! I really didn’t want it to look too obvious, and I didn’t want strong scar marks left behind, so I wanted to do the revision with the buried-suture method, like my first surgery. Other places all said I had to do an incision, but Director Lee Hee-young honestly told me that the buried-suture method would be fully possible and that it would be even better if I did ptosis correction too. Since it’s also a one-doctor clinic, I trusted them more, so I had surgery the very next day. Even after surgery, the swelling and bruising weren’t severe, so I wore glasses and went traveling right away and went about my daily life. From the 1-month mark, the swelling had completely gone down to the point that no one could tell it was a surgically operated eye, and it looked like my own eye, so I was really happy~ Now that it’s been 3 months, I forget that I even had surgery... Sometimes I look in the mirror and think, oh right, I had surgery;; and my husband says the same The line is clearer than before, so maybe that’s actually better? Friends I met after a long time all congratulated me, saying the surgery turned out so well, so these days I keep making plans for no reason and meeting friends I hadn’t been seeing~
