I had a partial-incision double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction done by that salaried doctor. It came undone and turned out terribly. The epicanthoplasty scars are still severe. When it came undone and I went back, the salaried doctor was gone, so I went to another hospital. So I paid several hundred thousand won and had it redone with an incisional method by the head director. I should not have done it then and should have just gone to Seoul….
The swelling from the double eyelid surgery lasted more than a year. Because I was young, I thought maybe incisional surgery was just like this. After the double eyelid swelling went down, it was extremely obvious that I’d had double eyelid surgery, but I just lived with it. But after a few years, only one side came undone. So I went to Seoul and had only that one side redone. It was the same incisional method, but the swelling went down in just one month. The scar was much less noticeable too. I should have had surgery there from the start. I was so sad about wasting my money and time and going through so much emotional distress. I hope you go to a hospital that is good from the beginning.
