I’m an office worker in sales in my late 30s. I decided to have surgery because of rhinitis and nasal congestion that I had lived with my whole life. After going around to a few places for consultations, I had functional rhinoplasty at ID Hospital with Director Lee Geun-seok. During the consultation, he didn’t do any unnecessary sales talk, so I went ahead as the director recommended, and for the design I asked him to make it a masculine straight nose no matter what. Since it was functional rhinoplasty, I needed documents for private insurance reimbursement, and the hospital manager carefully took care of everything on her own, so I was able to get the maximum insurance reimbursement. Alar reduction happened to be available at an event price. It’s still only 1 month after surgery, so there is still some slight residual swelling at the nasal tip, but I’m reasonably satisfied with both the functional breathing aspect and the cosmetic aspect.
