I had it done about twelve years ago. At the time, this place had a reputation for being good, and my friend had it done there and it turned out naturally and nicely. But I didn’t like mine. The drooping of the nasal tip did improve, but my nose ended up high, with too much of a semi-upturned shape, and it was operated on in a way that made the nose look slightly upturned. My nostrils also became uneven. It was my third surgery, and before that my nostrils were symmetrical. We had agreed to use ear cartilage, but judging by how hard my nose is, I think they may have used another material too.. My columella is also too recessed. As time passes, my nose seems to be getting more and more upturned, so I’m looking into revision surgery. Still, for over ten years, I haven’t had contracture or side effects.
