When I was 23, I had my first nose surgery because my bulbous nose was causing me insane stress. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it wasn’t pretty.. My original nose was big, so it looked like a man’s nose. After 10 years, I had revision surgery. I had revision surgery using donated costal cartilage, but compared to my first nose, it looked longer, was insanely pointy, and the foreign-body sensation made me feel mentally unwell for 3 months... The swelling also didn’t go down well. In the end, they said it couldn’t be removed because my nose might collapse, but I took everything out... The nose itself became round and soft-looking, but it was better than my original nose, so I decided to just live with it. Until 6 months after total removal, I lived like I wasn’t in my right mind. Now I’ve just come to accept it and live with it.
