Nose Surgery Reviews

It’s been one month since my revision functional rhinoplasty

I got a lot of information here, so I wanted to leave my own progress update too. I’ll write honestly. The swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet. The director said we should watch it up to 6 months, and they said swelling tends to last a long time for nostril lowering. Since I didn’t expect it to turn out perfect in one go from the moment I decided on revision surgery, waiting hasn’t been that hard. I think the surgery went better than I expected too. But there’s something that has definitely improved: my nasal congestion is gone, and that’s honestly the biggest thing I feel. I used to live every day feeling how uncomfortable it was to have one side constantly blocked. Now both sides are open, so even when I wake up after sleeping, my nose isn’t blocked. I kept thinking, “So this is how comfortable it was supposed to be” lol The nose shape that used to look crooked has also been corrected a lot, and the hump was naturally refined too. Before the revision surgery, when I looked from the front and the side, something always felt off, but now that feeling is gone. The swelling hasn’t even fully gone down yet, but even in this state, I think it suits my face well. There is still swelling and all, but still, Seeing the columella slowly starting to soften from its stiffness, I do think it’ll become more natural.
