April 2022 After dissolving filler, I had open surgery to shave down my hump nose and used septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone.
July 2022 I said my nose felt like it was becoming crooked, and they said they had inserted thin silicone. (Actually, I had the surgery on the condition that they would not put in silicone, but they said they had inserted a thin piece, so I had the silicone removed.)
I started to be bothered by a foreign-body sensation at the nasal tip. (It makes sense that I would feel a foreign-body sensation.. What I wanted in the past and what I want now have changed..)
As YouTube videos of people having nose implant/material removal surgery started showing up, I began wondering whether I should remove it before nasal inflammation develops.
I had surgery on the nasal tip using septal cartilage (as a support strut) and ear cartilage. I’m wondering if it would be okay if I remove them. Would it be better to remove them before inflammation happens, or would it be better to wait a few more years before removing them?
Only the nasal tip materials are left now, and there isn’t a big difference in shape compared with before my nose surgery, but I’m worried it might change a lot after surgery
If anyone here has had surgery like this, please share your reviews. Also, do ear cartilage and septal cartilage often cause inflammation?
