I recently had functional rhinoplasty, and I decided to go through with it after worrying because I usually had trouble breathing. It was also my first time under sedation anesthesia, so I was very afraid of the surgery, but once it was over, it just felt like I had fallen asleep and woken up, to the point where I wondered why I had been so nervous! During the preoperative consultation, they were very thorough and explained the condition of my nose and the areas that needed work in detail, so I felt I could trust them😆 Right after the surgery, there was some swelling and stuffiness, but as time passed, it gradually became more comfortable, and most of all, I could definitely feel that my breathing had changed. My nasal congestion decreased, so sleeping was much more comfortable too. I’m managing the recovery process as they instructed, so it has been passing without any major discomfort. My goal was to improve the functional aspect, but I feel even more satisfied because I also ended up with a pretty nose. I wanted a natural yet refined look, and I like the line too. More than anything, people who meet me for the first time think I originally had a high nose lol😆 I was really satisfied!! I hope this helps people with similar concerns 🤍
