Nose Surgery Reviews

I'm glad I had revision rhinoplasty

Over 10 years ago, I had surgery for a small, short nose using ear cartilage, but as time passed, my nasal tip started to lift and my nostrils seemed more visible than before, so I went for another revision rhinoplasty consultation. I had always been thinking that I wanted my overall look to feel a bit more refined.

During the consultation at the plastic surgery clinic, Director Lee Byung-hoe examined the current condition of my nose and explained that since my nasal tip tended to droop, the plan would be to support the nasal tip again and also correct the part where the nostrils were visible.

They proceeded without an implant, without raising the nasal bridge, and extended the nasal tip using autologous costal cartilage. The way he also paid attention to the overall facial design, which showed his extensive experience, made me trust him.

Even in the early stage after surgery, when the shape had not fully settled yet, I could immediately see that the nasal tip looked more lifted than before, so I felt the surgery had gone well. Especially when I smiled, my nostrils seemed less visible, which made me feel relieved about that part. I’ll have to wait a little longer, but so far, my overall image feels more polished, and most of all, I really like that the nose shape suits my facial image!
