My nasal tip projects too far forward and my nasal width has become narrower, so it doesn’t look harmonious with my face. Even taking into account that it hasn’t been long since surgery, I don’t think the reduced nasal width and the long, pointed tip projecting forward will change much, so I told the doctor I wanted to remove everything except the support strut. I’d seen many cases where clinics were reluctant to remove things and stalled to avoid doing revisions, so I was worried the place I went to might be like that too. Fortunately, they said we should watch it until 6 months, and if I still feel the same then, they’ll correct it for only the anesthesia fee. If I just hold out for 6 more months, it’ll go back to something similar to my original nose.. phew Still, I’m relieved there are no problems with contracture, inflammation, or shape.. Until then, I’ll wear a mask and focus on doing what I need to do.. To everyone who’s waiting it out like me, and everyone who’s about to have removal or correction, hang in there, and I hope your surgeries go successfully!
