Nose Re-Surgery

Complete removal at 2 weeks post-op Please help…

I’m posting because I feel so frustrated and hopeless, and if there’s anyone who has been through something similar, I want to get even a little information… It was my first surgery ever, and it was a no-implant osteotomy with septal cartilage + autologous costal cartilage to raise the nasal tip. But on the day I was supposed to have the internal stitches removed at 2 weeks post-op, they suspected that blood had accumulated around the nasal tip and septum, so I ended up having an emergency open washout that same day… Until right before I went into the operating room, they told me the chance of removing the cartilage was low, that they would just stop the bleeding and irrigate, and not to worry too much. But I guess the condition was much worse than expected, because when I woke up, I had been under general anesthesia, not sedation, and even the cartilage had all been removed because there was no other choice…. What’s so hard for me is the change in my nose shape.. My nose is lifted upward like a contracted nose, and maybe because the support cartilage was removed, the middle part of the columella is also sunken in... They say it will come back to some extent with time, but will it really come back? They say I have to wait at least 6 months to 1 year for revision surgery, and I feel so hopeless. I resent myself so much for having had plastic surgery... If anyone has had a similar experience, please give me some advice.
