It’s been exactly 1 week since the surgery. Honestly, it still feels a bit awkward lol. The pain has decreased a lot compared to right after surgery, but my breasts still feel extremely heavy, and that feeling of pressure is still there. Literally like having stones placed on top of my chest? I feel that heaviness every time I move, and I’m still scared to raise my arms high or lift anything heavy, so I’m barely doing that. I still can’t lie on my side, and I’m just sleeping on my back.
There’s still a little bruising and swelling left, and my breasts are sitting high and tight, so the shape doesn’t look natural yet. When you look at them, it’s immediately obvious like, “Ah, she had surgery” lol. They feel somewhat firm to the touch, and my skin also feels a bit tight and stretched. The hospital said that this kind of condition is normal in the early stage.
But honestly, recovery feels faster than I expected, so I feel a bit more at ease. There are still a lot of things I have to be careful about when moving around in daily life, but it feels like I’m gradually adjusting? Each day, movement gets a little more comfortable, and the heavy feeling also seems to be easing little by little. The line isn’t natural yet and the feel isn’t soft yet, but I do think it’s pretty okay for week 1.
Oh, and when I’m tired or walk for a long time, my breasts quickly start feeling stiff and sore, so I have to rest, and I also have to be careful when showering. Still, since I can definitely feel that things are getting more comfortable compared to right after surgery, I’m gradually gaining confidence.
