Because of some reaction that might be inflammation or something else, they said they would open it with a closed approach, and if it’s inflammation, the silicone has to be removed. But it’s only been 2 months since my first surgery, so I’m scared Has anyone had the silicone (estimated 3.2 mm) removed while leaving the nasal tip (septal extension, donated costal cartilage, ear cartilage) alone? I’m worried there might be a step-off, or that contracture might happen after removal I also went around for consultations at other clinics, and they said if I’m worried about a step-off while removing the silicone, they can adjust it a bit together by lowering the donated costal cartilage at the nasal tip step-off area (also with a closed approach). I’m also debating whether to lower the donated costal cartilage a bit or not…
