First of all, the wait was extremely long. I went with a friend, but things were so, so backed up that I felt really bad for the friend who came with me. I went in thinking about closed rhinoplasty, but they recommended open rhinoplasty. Up to that point it was fine, but they said the surgery would be done using septal cartilage + ear cartilage, and even though they took a CT scan, they didn’t explain it while looking at the scan... They didn’t tell me things like how large my septal cartilage was or whether it could be used. How should I put it, it felt like they briefly came in right before going into surgery, did a quick rushed consultation, and left? At the time, I hadn’t been to many consultations so I didn’t really know, but it didn’t feel like a detailed consultation.
