Nose Surgery Reviews

Male Rhinoplasty, Weeks 2-3

I already had some degree of nasal bridge, so I wasn’t greedy about making the bridge higher. But from the front, my nose looked blunt and bulbous, and from the side, the hump bothered me, so I went for consultations at about 7 places, from large hospitals to single-doctor clinics, to improve those issues. As soon as I had a consultation with Director Lee Chi-an, I felt, “Ah, this is the place,” so I scheduled the surgery. When it actually came time to get rhinoplasty, I started wanting more and asked the director what it would be like to raise my nasal bridge with an implant, which I hadn’t even considered before. He was very honest and said it would be better not to put one in, and that it would look strange if I did. That made me trust that he really understood what nose shape would suit my face. Maybe because the director felt young, the consultation was very friendly and fun, and I was able to ask everything I was curious about, so it was a very relieving consultation. After that, I scheduled the surgery and had it done. When the bandage came off at week 2, my nose was swollen, so I wondered, “Is this right?” But as the swelling gradually went down, it started becoming the nose shape I had been aiming for. Even though it has only been 2-3 weeks, I already think it looks this pretty, and hearing that it will become even prettier as more swelling goes down makes me feel that I made a really good choice having surgery at this clinic.
