Nose Surgery Reviews

Honest review from the day I got my splint removed

The first thought I had after getting the splint removed was that my nose looked bigger and wider than I expected. I asked the director right away, and they said it looks more spread out because there is still a lot of swelling, and because the nose length has become shorter. Still, it’s better than before. They said it would look more natural over time, but honestly, half of me understood and half of me felt like I needed to keep watching it a bit longer. I was also concerned that the nasal tip was red, and they said it could continue for a while because my skin is thin. I think I’ll need to be really diligent about sunscreen for a few months. Still, I can feel an immediate difference functionally. Before surgery, one side of my nose was always blocked, and there was something protruding inside my nose to the point that I could feel it with my hand. Now there’s none of that at all. Since that was one of the reasons I decided to have surgery, I’m satisfied for now. I’ll keep watching the shape a bit more and post an update on my progress.
