Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month review of closed revision rhinoplasty at Our Plastic Surgery!

It’s already been one month since my revision rhinoplasty! I had revision surgery because the step-off in my nose was too severe. Honestly, until some time had passed, I kept looking in the mirror wondering when the swelling would go down, but after a week it went down noticeably, and by around one month it definitely stabilized. Now it completely feels like my own nose haha After my previous surgery, I developed a step-off on the nasal bridge because of contracture, and that was my biggest source of stress. I was especially bothered by how the line looked broken from the side rather than from the front. During the consultation, it didn’t feel like they were just trying to make it higher no matter what. They said we should organize the existing structure and make it fit naturally, and I liked that. It didn’t feel like they were pushing anything excessive, and it felt like they listened to my opinion first, so I decided to go ahead. Now the step-off has improved a lot, so the overall look is much smoother, and I feel like my impression has become naturally more defined too. I almost never feel like it looks awkward like before. I know it probably hasn’t completely settled yet, but I’m satisfied so far 😊 I hope this is helpful for those considering revision surgery!
