Nose Surgery Reviews

My second revision rhinoplasty review

Previously, I had only had an implant placed in my nasal tip, but as time passed, a step-off started to appear between the nasal bridge and the tip, so I decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty this time. I didn’t like how the overall line looked interrupted, so I wanted a nose where the contours connected naturally.

After considering several clinics, I found a plastic surgery clinic, and after seeing reviews saying that the director had a good aesthetic sense, I went in for a consultation. During the consultation, the way the director explained things according to my facial proportions felt trustworthy, so I decided to proceed with the surgery under the director’s care.

Unlike my previous rhinoplasty, this time I was actually surprised that there wasn’t as much swelling as I expected from the first day after surgery. Of course, the swelling was the worst on days 2–3, and my face did feel a bit uncomfortable, but it was better than I had worried it would be.

I’m now at week 2, and a lot of the major swelling has gone down, but there is still some swelling left. Still, I can see that the step-off has been smoothed out and the line has become much softer, so I’m satisfied so far. I’m hoping it will settle naturally as more time passes.
