My nose was on the low and wide side, so I wanted to raise the bridge, refine the tip at the same time, and also get alar reduction. A trainer I knew told me she had gotten a rhinoplasty, but it didn’t look obvious at all and was so naturally pretty, so I asked where she had it done because I wanted to do it too. She told me it was Dr. Cha Myung-gyu at Wannabe and recommended him. I naturally thought I would need alar reduction too, but when I went in for a consultation, he said I didn’t need alar reduction and didn’t recommend it. He also said I didn’t need an osteotomy, so that actually made me trust him a lot more. He seemed like someone who only recommends what is truly necessary. He explained that my nose wasn’t actually wide, but that it looked spread out because it was low. He said that once the nasal tip was lifted, my nose wouldn’t look wide anymore, and it was true. Once the bridge became higher, it created the effect of making the tip look slimmer too. The best thing after getting my nose done is that my overall vibe feels much more sophisticated and mature. People around me have all been complimenting me, saying I got prettier, so I’m also thankful to the trainer who recommended him. From the moment I set the surgery date, I kept thinking very carefully about whether or not to go through with the surgery, but I think I’m glad I did it. There were a few people around me who tried to stop me, but after seeing the result, even they said it turned out well, so I think my nose changed a lot. For now, I’m extremely satisfied. I recommend surgery to those who are worried because their nose looks wide.
