Nose Surgery Reviews

3~4 weeks after autologous costal cartilage functional rhinoplasty revision

It has been 3~4 weeks since the revision functional rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage, and most of the initial swelling has subsided; the nose feels like it is gradually settling into a more natural position. At first there was a slightly hard and awkward feeling, but now it has become much softer. The part that worried me most, the central nasal midface area that used to appear long, has been clearly organized, so my facial proportion now looks more balanced than before. It does not feel overly lifted or noticeable, and overall the impression feels more composed, so I am satisfied. It is not yet the point where it is fully settled, but so far I feel recovery is stable. I recently visited the clinic for follow-up and saw Dr. Kim Hyun-joo. I was told that recovery is progressing well with no swelling or inflammation, and was reassured that there is no particularly problematic part. She said the remaining residual swelling may decrease further over time, and that this is currently the observation phase. She explained the parts I had questions about calmly, so I am recovering without anxiety.
