I kind of thought double eyelid surgery would be easy lol Even when I was going into surgery, I was like, “Ah, I probably won’t be nervous at all~” but when the surgery day actually came, my heart felt like it was really going to burst ㅠㅠㅠ I was totally shaking ㄷㄷㄷ and got the surgery at the clinic;;; When I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room, and I just wanted to go home quickly, so I asked the nurse if I could go home, hurriedly packed my things, and went straight home lol There wasn’t any separate aftercare for the double eyelid surgery, so I managed it at home by diligently doing warm/cold compresses~ and going for walks too! And the hardest thing for me was practicing opening my eyes using my eye muscles ㅠㅠ Before that, I had such a strong habit of opening my eyes with my forehead, so it was really hard to get used to. It took some time to adjust. There was some swelling at first, but it went down much faster than I expected, and Director Hwang also asked if I had been managing it diligently and said my swelling had gone down really well! Until the 1-month mark, I barely wore any eye makeup and was careful not to irritate my eyes as much as possible. Right after 1 month passed, I tried eye makeup again after a long time, and I loved how my eyes looked so much clearer ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ In conclusion, I’m totally satisfied with the surgery result!
