I had my first surgery almost 20 years ago, and ever since then, I had always been dissatisfied with my eyes. These days, what stressed me out the most was that my medial epicanthoplasty had opened the inner corners too much, and my eyelids had drooped, so the line didn’t look clear. So I wanted medial epicanthoplasty restoration and to improve my eye shape compared with now, and I started looking into clinics while searching through cosmetic surgery apps. The consultation I had at Ollo resonated with me the most, so I ended up having surgery there. First of all, this place had good reviews for restoration, and when I went for the consultation, the director carefully checked my skin sagging, elasticity, and eyelid condition before deciding on and explaining the surgical method. I wanted medial epicanthoplasty restoration, but I didn’t want my eyes to look too closed-off, and the director explained how he would adjust it. He said the double eyelid could be redefined with an incisional method. He said that if he lifted the medial side while maintaining my existing double-eyelid line, my eyes would look less droopy than now and more defined. Also, the director recommended lower canthoplasty, so I did it together, and after the surgery, I really think I made the right choice doing the lower canthoplasty together. I have a habit of opening my eyes with eyebrow strength, but when I said I didn’t want ptosis correction, the director did recommend doing something like a forehead lift later, but I liked that he didn’t pressure me as if I absolutely had to do it together now. Honestly, I’m pretty good at tolerating pain, and since I had surgery, I tend to think some discomfort is unavoidable. But when I had surgery at other clinics before, there were many times when they didn’t provide any separate care, just briefly looked at my eyes during follow-up checks and told me I didn’t need to come anymore. Here, I liked that the director who performed the surgery personally checked me both when removing the stitches and during follow-up visits. Because of the medial epicanthoplasty, my impression used to look very sharp, but after the restoration and doing lower canthoplasty together, my overall impression seems much softer.. I heard that if restoration surgery is done poorly, it can have no effect or make the eyes look even more closed-off, so I’m relieved it turned out successfully, especially since I paid quite a lot for the surgery.
