When I had the splint on, I thought it turned out better than expected, but after taking it off, I hate how it looks so much. I thought I didn’t have high expectations, but I guess that wasn’t true. They did say the dorsal hump could remain. I thought I was mentally prepared for it... but now that I actually see it, so much is still left. And why is the nasal tip lifted like a pig’s nose.. Even after osteotomy, what is this bumpy part sticking out to the side.. Even while telling myself it’s because of swelling, I’m anxious.. Once the swelling goes down, won’t the hump look even worse? If the nasal tip drops, that means the hump will look worse by that much.. And why does it look so crooked? Is it really going to get better once the swelling goes down?
Sigh... the money is gone as it is. I’m taking walks morning and evening, taking medicine, putting up with the discomfort and trying hard, but every time I look in the mirror, I just sigh. My original nose was the kind that couldn’t be helped.. I guess I just have to accept it.
