Before surgery, I already had double eyelids and my eyes weren’t small either, but for some reason they looked a bit stuffy, so I ended up getting surgery. I had a few friends around me who had double-eyelid surgery, so I asked them, and they said many people get revision eye surgery. So I think I looked up pretty much every place known for eye surgery .. lol I looked through that many review photos and went to a lot of consultations, and it was interesting because the quality of consultation and the recommended procedures were a little different at each clinic. I had the surgery at a plastic surgery clinic, and for me, I liked their consultation the most. Even though they had many patients, they didn’t just rush through it. They listened carefully to my concerns and checked the eyelid line and eye shape that would suit me in a very detailed way. I wanted a polished-yet-natural semi-out line, and they recommended natural adhesion + ptosis correction + diagonal canthoplasty, so I had the surgery exactly as recommended. To be honest, I did want a semi-out line, but I also seriously considered an in-out line. The director tried making each type of line and said the semi-out suited me much better haha I think the surgery took a little over 30 minutes, and I was able to rest enough in the recovery room before leaving, so it wasn’t too difficult to go get the surgery by myself. At first, the swelling did bother me, but the double-eyelid line itself was very clear and even, so I kept looking in the mirror haha; Now it has completely settled, so I can comfortably wear makeup and contact lenses. The stuffy look I had before surgery is gone, and now my eyes look much more open, so I often hear that my facial features look clear and refreshed. The director specializes in eye surgery and has a lot of experience, so I think their aesthetic sense is really good. I’m not saying this is absolutely the place for everyone, but if everyone here is considering eye surgery, I think it would be worth going for a consultation! lol
