This is my 2-week review of under-eye fat repositioning surgery at Tobi Plastic Surgery. After the surgery, from day 1 to about a week, the area under my eyes was a little swollen. I felt a bit uncomfortable especially when looking downward, but it was not as bothersome as I had expected.
The swelling was at its worst on days 2-3, and after that it gradually went down. What was surprising was that even when there was swelling, it was barely noticeable from the outside that I had had surgery. People around me had no idea at all. If I wore glasses, it was really to the point where no one could notice, so there was almost no inconvenience in daily life.
Even at week 1, I already felt it was okay, but by week 2, it feels like the under-eye area has settled in more naturally. The hollow, tired-looking under-eye appearance that used to bother me is gone, and overall my impression seems much brighter. My dark circles have also faded a lot, so I do not really need to use much concealer when doing makeup.
I know everything has probably not fully settled yet, but based on week 2, I am quite satisfied with the result. Recovery was faster than I expected, and compared with the swelling or discomfort, the improvement I gained is clear, so I feel like I made the right choice. I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural.
