Revision nose surgery: Septal and ear cartilage review!

About seven years ago, I had a philtrum-reduction surgery, and I also did a nasal tip procedure at the same time, but I was so unhappy with the nasal shape and philtrum angle, so I decided to do a rhinoplasty revision and started searching around. I consulted at seven hospitals. I went to many places, including clinics famous for revision rhinoplasty and ones I found from YouTube videos of major hospitals. Even after getting a CT and consulting, every place said surgery using only septal cartilage would be difficult and only recommended rib cartilage, so I felt uneasy. I kept thinking, maybe I don’t even have enough septal cartilage? I can’t read the CT well myself, so does it really have to be rib cartilage. Then, during that period, I had a consultation with Dr. Ji-hwan Lee at Between. First, he said maybe the CT machine here is better. The CT came out in more detail than other hospitals, and he said my septal cartilage was sufficient. Haha. Based on that, we decided to proceed with surgery using septal cartilage plus ear cartilage. I also asked because a few other hospitals had talked about nostril narrowing, and he said nostril narrowing probably does not need to be done, which made me trust him even more. Now I am in the second week. I can handle everyday life without any strain, and I feel comfortable. The swelling is visibly decreasing day by day, so I am satisfied. If you are thinking about a rhinoplasty revision, I recommend consulting at Between too!
