I’d been living without thinking much about it, but after hearing that my younger sibling is getting breast surgery, I came back here for the first time in a while. It seems like there are still many people here worrying about nose implant removal, so I’m writing this! I had rhinoplasty where they shaved down my hump and used 4 mm silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage. At the previous clinic, they raised my nose too aggressively, so the cartilage show-through was really severe. It looked like it was about to pierce through the skin, so I had it removed. Because they had raised it too aggressively, the alar cartilage at the nasal tip collapsed, so they made a support strut with the ear cartilage that had been used in the nasal tip and set it up, and because of skin depression, they filled the nasal tip space with Megaderm! It’s been 2 years now, and I’m doing perfectly fine with no problems ◡̎ If there’s anything you’re curious about, leave a comment! I’ll reply when I have time!
