Eye Surgery Reviews

Same-day review of under-eye fat repositioning (ㅇㅅㅋ)

I posted a combined consultation review yesterday. If you’re curious about the consultation, I hope you’ll check that post!!! I had surgery today, and I was surprised because it was better than I expected… haha Anyway, I’ll start the review. As soon as I arrived, I met with the consultant, signed the surgical consent form, and went to wash my face. I don’t really like washing my face at dermatology clinics and things like that, so I went bare-faced, but they still told me to wash my face? So I washed my face and waited in a small room, and then the director came in, looked at my face, and did the design. He also said simple things like not to be nervous~ and I liked that he seemed to speak kindly and attentively. After that, I changed only my top and went into the operating room. They gave me a ball to hold in my left hand to help ease tension, and connected an IV to my right arm! After that, they put eye drops in my eyes… probably for anesthesia? It seemed like something like that. As soon as they put them in, my eyes immediately felt heavy and aching. Then they flipped my eyelids and the surgery went on for about 40 minutes. They told me to keep my eyes closed and look upward as if looking at my forehead above, but I got kind of scared that something might go wrong if I didn’t look upward lol Anyway, I could feel everything: the anesthetic injection going in, the laser cauterizing, stitching with something like thread, pulling, and so on. This place doesn’t use sedation, so you do it fully conscious haha Since I could roughly know how the procedure was being done, it was good because there was no risk of a proxy surgery. During the surgery, I could smell something like burning squid and feel things happening in my eyes, so that was a bit unpleasant lololol But it was bearable. I even felt like I dozed off for about 1-2 seconds here and there, maybe because the anesthesia worked well???….;;; Maybe I have nerves of steel lololol Anyway, the doctor said the surgery was completed well. When I opened my eyes, I saw three of the doctor’s eyes, and the double vision was pretty severe, like the world had flipped upside down. They said it would get better after 2 hours, but for me I think it took a little over 4 hours And my eyes are extremely dry. Even though I used the prescribed medication and prescribed eye drops, I thought I’d need additional artificial tears, so I bought some and have been using them. Oh, and I really don’t have even a single bruise. It’s fascinating;;; The consultant also looked at my face after surgery and said it seemed like I wouldn’t have bruising… but who knows?! They say bruising is worst on days 2-3… For now, I think I need to wake up tomorrow and check my face. I don’t have bruising, but there is some swelling, so I do feel like I have slightly fox-like eyes. But I don’t have bloody tears or any discharge either, so is that really okay..?.??? Why do I look so normal I’ll wake up tomorrow and see how it progresses… For today, I’m going to sleep sitting up. I’ll post the before-and-after photos right away.
