As my mom’s under-eye area started to sag, it looked shadowed like dark circles, and she often heard that she always looked tired. There was only so much makeup could cover, so we started considering lower blepharoplasty, and after consultations at several places, she had it done at the clinic. Before surgery, the fat under her eyes was bulging and the wrinkles overlapped, so her impression looked a bit older. Now, the under-eye area looks tidier, and overall she looks much cleaner. What I’m most satisfied with is that it improved naturally without looking overly pulled. The recovery process was easier than expected, and I could feel it gradually getting better as the swelling went down. I was relieved because my mom also hears a lot from people around her that her impression looks brighter, and she’s satisfied. She seems amazed that only her eyes changed but her whole facial impression looks different, so these days she’s practically living with a mirror She says it’s much better than before when she looks at her eyes, and that the best part is not hearing that she looks tired anymore. I feel proud, like I made a good decision getting the surgery for her
