Originally, my rhinitis was so severe that I was only planning to get functional nose surgery, but I’m glad I did functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty together. I had it done at ItsBe, and compared to week 2, the swelling has gone down a huge amount, so it looks fine from the front now too. I can definitely feel the swelling going down more as time passes.
There’s nothing around the area where the costal cartilage was harvested except a slight stiff? feeling, and now I don’t feel uncomfortable when sleeping either.
It’s only been a month, but seeing how much my nose line has changed compared to before surgery feels amazing. My features definitely look more defined, and people around me say my overall impression looks better, so they’ve been telling me I did a good job getting it done lol
And I really like the line when viewed from the side.
Oh, functionally too, I had no idea that being able to breathe comfortably through my nose would improve my quality of life this much. Anyway, the swelling will keep going down and it’ll continue settling in, so I’m going to do my best with aftercare as much as possible.
