I had an unlicensed filler procedure on my nose 12 years ago, and because my nasal bridge had spread out and I wanted cosmetic improvement, I went to a hospital in Seoul that specializes in foreign substance removal. During the consultation, the director touched my nasal bridge and said that since it was soft, liposuction seemed like it would be effective. At the time of the consultation, there were several things I was worried about, so I planned to have surgery only after getting definite answers, and one of them was confirming whether the volume would definitely decrease after removing the foreign substance. The consultation manager also said that this surgery is done to reduce volume, so I decided to go ahead, made a reservation, and had the surgery, but there was no effect at all. Personally, I do not recommend foreign substance removal liposuction for people who have had unlicensed fillers. It may seem like a simple surgery, but the swelling and bruising last more than a month, and the effect is minimal.
