I finally went around for consultations! It was seriously intense going to all of them in one day, but I wanted to share even the TMI-level details, so I’m writing this! First, my concern was that I wanted bulbous nose correction, with the bridge not raised too much, and improvement of the nose spreading out to both sides!

> Nose photo shoot If you follow the staff member into the place where they take nose photos, there’s a separate place to put your belongings, so it’s okay to bring your bag! Once you go in, you use the headband on the chair to tidy up your bangs and baby hairs, put it on, and then just follow their instructions, like lifting your head or turning your torso lol I did something so dumb there lol The staff member said “at 45 degrees~,” and all I had to do was slightly lift my head upward at a 45-degree angle, but since it was my first consultation, I had no idea and turned my whole torso 45 degrees ^^.... so awkward;.. If the person taking the photos says “at 45 degrees~,” just lift your head 45 degrees while looking up at the sky.. haha There are number stickers all over inside the photo-taking area, so it should be easy to understand haha!
> Consultation with the consultant They asked basic things like whether I’d ever had any nose procedures or surgery, what my concerns were, how I wanted to improve it, whether I wanted a glamorous look or a natural look, etc. They looked at the photos of my nose they had taken on the iPad and roughly explained how they would improve it.
☑ Diagnosis: Silicone + septal cartilage + bulbous nose correction + nasolabial angle correction + columella trimming + hump nose smoothing + possibility of using donated costal cartilage
> Consultation with the director Thump thump, after waiting about 10 minutes, the director came in. After touching my nose, he basically said the same things overall as discussed earlier, and said I didn’t need osteotomy!! He said my septal cartilage seemed sufficient, so he likely wouldn’t use other supplementary materials if possible. He used a cotton swab to set my nose line and showed me how it would proceed and how the shape would come out! He looked at photos of my nose on the pad and explained how much the angle would be raised in a way I could see and feel visually, which was really goodㅠ,, He said my bulbous nose shape isn’t a difficult one. Also, my nose is slightly curved in an S-shape, but it’s not curved from the upper nasal bone; rather, the nasal bone near the nostril wings is slightly curved, so he said surgery should sufficiently correct it into a straight line. I had no idea my nose had been crooked my whole life, seriously. After hearing the director say that and looking closely, my nose wasn’t aligned with my philtrum line ..ㅋ It was honestly fascinating how he knew just by looking. Anyway, this was my first surgery and this hospital was my first consultation, so I was really nervous and worried I might come away without asking many questions. But until the end, he asked if I had any more questions about the surgical method or materials and told me to think about it, so while thinking it over I was able to bring up more questions that came to mind. He kindly waited, so I felt reassured that I had enough Q&A time! And he said that if I ended up having surgery, it would go well, so I finished the consultation feeling very reassured.
> Price consultation with the consultant Personally, I really liked the consultation I had with the consultant at the end..! They showed me quite a lot of before/after review photos of people with nose shapes similar to mine and gave me many examples, saying it would be corrected beautifully like this. Before discussing the price, they summarized and explained again the surgical method and materials based on the diagnosis the director gave, and they also talked a little more about the hospital lol 1) The director is really good at bulbous nose correction. 2) He studies hard to meet patients’ needs as much as possible. 3) He performs surgery while displaying the photos sent by the patient in the operating room and continuously comparing them, etc. Then they said they were absolutely not pressuring me to book and that I should think about it deeply, which I appreciatedㅜㅜ .. When I said I wanted to do it around November to December, they said that’s peak season and a busy time, so the sooner I let them know, the more likely I’d be able to get the date I want! They also said that if I put down a deposit but changed my mind or my schedule didn’t work out, I just needed to contact them at least one week in advance and they would refund 100% of the deposit. Among the hospitals I visited, this was the only place that offered a 100% deposit refund;;
