It seems like I had septal extension on both sides with autologous costal cartilage, and pieces of autologous costal cartilage placed on the nasal tip, but when I looked at the operative record, only autologous costal cartilage was checked under cartilage harvesting. Does that mean septal cartilage wasn’t used? If septal cartilage wasn’t used, would the chance of my nose collapsing during removal be lower..?
