My nose had only had the tip manipulated with septal cartilage, and I had it removed a little before 2 weeks after rhinoplasty because of a foreign-body sensation + dissatisfaction with the shape (my original nose suited my face much better).
Even up to 1 week after removal, it looked so flat and wide that I wondered, “Is it really going back?” and I felt depressed and anxious, but now it seems slightly slimmer than my natural nose, so for now I’m very satisfied..
It was opened twice within a short period of time, but I don’t have a columellar scar, and on ultrasound they said the inside of my nose also seems to be recovering cleanly. I think the director did a good job with hemostasis and suturing haha
The key issue from now on will probably be scar tissue, so I’ll keep updating. My nasal skin is thick, so I think I need to manage it well to minimize scar tissue as much as possible haha.. I’m scared, so I’m also taking Rizaben, and I heard blood circulation is important for scar tissue, so starting next week I’m planning to go to the gym, exercise gently, and use the sauna.
I don’t want to reveal the clinic information because I’m worried I’ll be suspected of being a broker, but it’s one of the top three.
People here strongly discouraged early removal, so I was really scared right up until I lay down on the operating table, but I decided quickly as soon as the splint came off and had it removed quickly, and I absolutely don’t regret it.
