It’s been a year and a half since I had surgery with silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage, and lately I’ve been suspecting contracture I made an appointment at the hospital where I had the surgery, but it’s a month later, and they say it probably isn’t contracture, but I really feel like it is Can I go to another hospital and get examined for contracture?? My symptoms are: 1. The inside of my nose is extremely dry, 2. The column between my nostrils and the nasal tip feel kind of numb/tingly, 3. There is translucency at the nasal tip, and the skin over the columella area is gradually getting thinner, 4. It feels like the height/length of my nose has gotten a bit shorter. (Depending on how I take the photo it looks okay or not okay, and I try to take it from exactly the same angle, but it doesn’t work well so I’m not sure) If it is contracture, revision surgery or removal are the only answers, right?? Sigh, I really hate both options Please share your opinions!!!
