I ended up getting revision rhinoplasty because after my first nose surgery, the nasal dorsum was thick and the columella area came down, making the nose look droopy. I looked for a single-doctor clinic that specialized in revision rhinoplasty as much as possible, narrowed things down after reading reviews and having consultations, and this was the clinic I was most satisfied with. The director said they would lower the nasal bridge near the glabella, use autologous costal cartilage, and raise everything from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip and columella to create the look I wanted. Just as they designed it, I got the slim, defined straight-to-slightly-curved line I wanted. If autologous costal cartilage is used, most people are usually most worried about pain or scars, but maybe because the doctor handles costal cartilage well, it wasn’t severe, and the scar healed well without any wound problems. My features look more defined and feminine, so I’m very satisfied.
