- Reason for choosing the clinic: I looked through many reviews on several platforms and narrowed it down to places where the shape matched my style. After excluding large hospitals, two places remained, so I went for consultations. Since this was revision surgery, I really did not want it to fail this time. Director Kim Jin-woo consulted with me for a long time, which made me trust him, and I decided because I thought that if I had surgery here, even if something happened to go wrong, they would take responsibility and do it again!
- Before surgery: Before going into surgery, I met the director and told him exactly what shape I wanted! I told him what kind of shape I disliked and what points I definitely wanted improved, and he kept asking if there was anything else, so I think I was able to speak comfortably.
- After surgery: The surgery ended around the expected time, and as soon as I woke up from sedation anesthesia, my nose was throbbing and hurting, so I got a painkiller Even after going home it kept hurting, so I kept taking the prescribed medication together with Tylenol! There was no painkiller in the prescribed medication, so I think it would be good to have Tylenol prepared.
- Surgical materials: Silicone for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and donated costal cartilage were used. The ear cartilage was reused from before, and because my septal cartilage was weak, donated costal cartilage was used! The silicone was placed very thinly.
- Satisfaction: My previous nose was so unchanged from my original nose that no one could tell I had surgery, and the hump and drooping nasal tip had not improved at all. The drooping nasal tip was my biggest source of stress, and I think the director picked up on that well and paid attention to it, so now the tip is lifted without being too excessive, and I’m really satisfied!!! I wanted an elegant nose that was not too dramatic but also not too natural, and it came out exactly as I wanted. I can take photos confidently now and don’t use Photoshop anymore,, Even the people around me who tried to stop me from getting revision surgery all say it turned out so well and suits my image perfectly, so I feel good At the time I was searching, there weren’t many reviews, so I worried a lot. I hope this helps people who have the same concerns as me! If you are thinking about rhinoplasty, I recommend going for a consultation at least once:)
