This is absolutely not a place to go expecting anything other than the consultant and facilities. The consultation felt way too sales-pitchy and lacked professionalism, and the facilities felt very outdated, but it’s a place you go to for that one doctor. I decided on surgery because of one remark from the doctor, full of trust, saying that if anything went wrong from the hospital’s side, they would provide unlimited aftercare. They’re also known for natural-looking results, and for men with short noses, it’s like a ray of light.
Things to consider when having surgery are that they use Gore-Tex, and if it’s a simple surgery, it’s under local anesthesia? Damn, I obviously thought I’d be asleep; I still remember listening to idol K-pop and chatting with the doctor... When I got the local anesthetic injection, I saw stars, but after that it honestly didn’t hurt.. Still, it was clearer in my memory than I expected lol. Right after the surgery ended, I thought, never local anesthesia again! But looking back now, there’s also the unlucky possibility of not waking up, and recovery right afterward is fast, so if I have surgery in the future, I’d want local anesthesia only..
That was a long aside, but now that it’s been 4 years since surgery, I have no side effects. Whenever I contacted the hospital because I occasionally got pimples on the nasal tip (though I originally often had breakouts on my nose), they told me to come in right away so they could check it, and they examined me (no consultation fee). These days, I just live with it, thinking it is what it is. I went to this hospital through a recommendation too, but I really think I did well choosing this place. The director has good aesthetic sense, so the result is refined and doesn’t look obvious. If you want a nose like a HYBE idol, this is not the place to go.
