Because my job involves appearing on screen, taking care of my appearance was essential, but my nose in particular just could not be covered up. Even if I enhanced the bridge with contouring and made the nostrils look a bit smaller, the height was low to begin with and the shape was a bit upturned, so I was stressed that too much of my nostrils showed from the front. Especially when taking profile shots, I felt that the slightly flattened-looking nose ruined the entire shape of my face by making it look flat.

I had two types of rhinitis surgery + an autologous costal cartilage nasal tip procedure, and I did not use an implant. Director Kim Hyun-joo recommended that, if I wanted a natural result, I should only use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip and not insert an implant.
From the first day, even when there was swelling, I liked the shape of my nose. Since I only had the nasal tip done, even with the splint on, the surgical area was visible, and both the height and shape fit my face perfectly, so I was satisfied.
For recovery, from the day of surgery until my visit the next day, breathing felt stuffy and there was a lot of swelling, but from day 3, I could pretty much go about daily life. My nose did not hurt at all, but the autologous costal cartilage area was a little painful. It did not hurt if I stayed still, but it hurt when I got up or bent my waist.
I had a complex about taking profile photos, so there were hardly any past photos from that angle. After searching hard and comparing them, my face shape and side profile definitely look different. I can now take selfies from any angle I want, and I like that I also look good when someone else takes photos of me.
Most of all, I am most satisfied that it does not look obvious. I met relatives and friends, and they all said I somehow looked more handsome, but unless I tell them, they do not know I had my nose done. The director also said it turned out so natural that people would not notice unless I told them.
