Since it was week 2, I went in and even had the stitches inside my mouth removed. Now that it’s been 2 weeks, it feels like most of the major swelling is gone. The swelling in my lips has almost all gone down too. Still, there’s some residual swelling around my nose and mouth, so I wear a mask when I work. After getting the stitches removed, it hurts much less and I’m not as bothered by the inside of my mouth. It used to get in the way when I ate, but now it’s more comfortable. I’m trying to wear the compression band when I’m at home or sleeping. The hospital provides 5 aftercare sessions, and since I was going anyway because of the stitches, it wasn’t bothersome and was nice. I got the care treatment, took anti-swelling medicine, and went to work, and it feels like the swelling is going down well. Even if it’s a hassle, everyone, get the treatments. Recommended! Except for a little bit on my lower lip and the tip of my chin, sensation has all come back. I don’t have nosebleeds or bloody phlegm anymore. Until day 10, I wasn’t allowed to blow my nose, so I kept spitting it out as phlegm I hope the swelling goes down quickly so my face gets even slimmer! So far, I’m satisfied haha
