Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I’m truly satisfied with cheekbone and chin advancement, and it’s really good

I was born in 1983, and since I was young I had rhinitis, sinusitis, and so on, so I breathed through my mouth and my jaw gradually receded. Also, because of family traits, my cheekbones developed strongly, so my side profile looked a bit like Australopithecus, and from the front I had a strong impression like someone who had committed a mid-level crime, and I lived my whole life like that. As someone who has to have a social life, whenever I met people I always felt intimidated, and I often heard that my impression was strong or that my face had a very distinctive character. And after people described my impression that way, with their cold looks, I felt so embarrassed about myself and spent day after day losing confidence. Rather than wanting to feel handsome, I wanted to communicate with people normally, get rid of the habit of covering my mouth or turning my head while talking, and live socially with my head held confidently. I had cheekbone surgery and chin advancement at Contour Standard. I think the reason I chose the hospital was probably because of my consultation with Dr. Oh Jung-seok. Honestly, although I’m a man, it was surgery involving my face, so I was filled with endless suspicion and worry, but he explained things plainly, kindly, and without exaggeration. At other hospitals, they just kept endlessly explaining only the cheekbones I was interested in and it felt like they were bargaining, so I felt a bit uneasy. But at Contour Standard, there was no separate person like a consultant; even though the director was busy, he made time for me and listened well to my story. I also really liked the suggestion that it might be good to fix my chin too, and now I’m satisfied after surgery. Another advantage is that it is cheaper compared with other hospitals. Now I’m approaching week 4. First of all, because I had a recessed chin, my teeth looked protruded and my oral area looked like it was positioned forward, but now there is appropriate chin volume placed under my jaw and my cheekbones have become slimmer. There is still about 30 percent swelling left? but I’m very satisfied, and since they say the face keeps changing until 6 months, I have high expectations. To briefly write about the recovery process after surgery.. On days 2 to 3, the face swells a lot, bruising appears severely here and there on the face, and there is considerable soreness. Then from day 4, the pain decreases unbelievably and the swelling also goes down by about half. After 1 week, there are slight bruises in some areas, and from week 2 onward, the appearance returns enough that daily life is not affected at all unless someone looks closely. But absolutely!!! tough or hard foods are not allowed. You must eat finely minced or blended food and be careful for 1 month. I made the mistake of eating regular food in week 2, had to undergo revision surgery again, and since then I have been living very carefully. From Australia, I searched internet reviews, went around to several hospitals by doing in-person consultations to find a good hospital, and there were many twists and turns until I met the doctor at Contour Standard. But my first surgery was successful, and even when I was in a situation where I had to receive revision surgery, Director Oh Jung-seok always calmly told me not to worry and checked everything meticulously, so I highly recommend him. I strongly!! recommend getting chin and cheekbone surgery at Contour Standard.
