Hello, I’m leaving a review of my consultation for revision rhinoplasty with Director Park Sungwoo at Avec Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Currently, the columella area of my nose is full of scar tissue and is not in good condition, so he said the surgery would need to be divided into a first and second stage.
For the first surgery, to improve the current columella, because the autologous costal cartilage that has been operated on is thick, he said we should proceed with surgery to improve the columella, such as trimming or removing the autologous costal cartilage, and after recovery, plan toward proceeding with the second surgery.
For the second surgery, he suggested harvesting the remaining ear cartilage and performing aesthetic contouring surgery, such as bulbous nose correction and septal extension.
The director listened carefully to what I said, reviewed the CT scan thoroughly, and examined my current nose condition in detail.
Both the director and the consultant were kind, and I think the hospital facilities were decent!
