I did think my nose felt like there was a foreign body inside and that it was tight and firm, but I didn’t know it was contracture I’m so upset. I had an L-shaped silicone implant inserted through a closed approach, and I’ve never used any other materials, cartilage, or septal cartilage. At the clinic, they said that because contracture has already developed, if I remove it, my nose will 100% turn upward. So they said they need to use septal cartilage to support the columella and lower the nasal tip as much as possible… They said the silicone capsule and scar tissue all need to be removed as much as possible. I went in only thinking about total removal, so this is such a shock Is there anyone here who had removal in a situation like this??.. I still have appointments left at other clinics
