Nose Surgery Reviews

It's been 2 weeks since my DCF revision surgery for contracted nose reconstruction!

After inflammation at another hospital led to the complete removal of my nasal implant, the shape of my nose became so severely deformed that everyday life was difficult (My nose was opened 5 times in total.) While looking for reviews related to severe nose cases or contracted nose reconstruction, I found RU Plastic Surgery. As I was reading reviews, I learned that they also had a YouTube channel, so I watched their videos. After seeing Director Kim Hyun-joo’s surgical process and explanations, I felt trust and visited the clinic!

Starting in August 2025, I underwent 3 sessions of stem cell therapy and 5 sessions of blood stem cell therapy. My nasal tissue became much softer, and the folded areas also straightened out a lot. After my condition stabilized, I was able to have surgery in January 2026.

Reconstructing the contracted nose was the priority rather than making a pretty nose. Because I had a history of inflammation, instead of silicone, finely diced autologous costal cartilage wrapped in scalp fascia was used to build up the nasal bridge. The nasal tip was lowered, and columella reconstruction and restoration of the folded and pinched areas were performed!

Currently, there is still scarring and bruising in the folded areas, but I think I’ll have to wait and see with time. There is still swelling too, but the nose shape has improved so much compared to before surgery that I can now go outside without a mask, so I’m very relieved

I had the surgery thinking this was truly the last one It had been so hard all this time, and I searched through many different cases, but I hadn’t seen a nose that was folded and curled inward like mine.. If there is anyone like me, I hope this helps!!
