Day 0 (day of surgery) I was so nervous and really... couldn’t tell if this was a dream or reality I went into the operating room and took off my gown, but it was so cold that I was shivering, and they told me to take 5 deep breaths. I got to 4 and lost consciousness When I came to, the surgery was over and my body was wrapped in a compression bandage They gave me water and pumpkin porridge, so I ate it, and I was honestly so sleepy, but I knew I had to wake up, so I worked hard on deep breathing I was still a little groggy, but since I had a guardian with me, I was discharged When I stayed still it didn’t hurt at all, and when I moved it just felt heavy, so I thought, ‘What, this is doable? lol’ Slept lying down
Day 1 Where did the arrogant me from yesterday, who said this was doable, go... I’m the type who tolerates pain pretty well, but it hurt... In the morning it was so hard that I slept with my head down on the desk (when I woke up, I burped, so my stomach felt a liiittle better) Went to the hospital and only got SmartLux; I skipped hyperbaric treatment because I couldn’t lie down and get up by myself
Day 2 Normally the taping is removed on day 3, but because the hospital was closed for the holiday, I got the tape removed one day early When they unwrapped the bandage and removed the tape, it felt refreshing~ and I could breathe, so it was much more livable And I faced my enlarged boobs for the first time... oh, it felt so unfamiliar But the director and nurse were so, so kind that it was healing Removing the tape didn’t hurt anywhere except for 1 second of pain at the fat grafting area, and they helped me stretch too, so I felt refreshed.. Changed to a compression bra + upper band Got hyperbaric oxygen care and SmartLux It was the historic day when I ate regular food instead of porridge for the first time after surgery My condition was pretty okay too From this day, I succeeded in pooping haha
Day 3 As if yesterday’s okay condition had never happened, it hurt again.. Of course, compared to day 1, it was bearable! I still couldn’t get up by myself Still, I worked hard on stretching and walking (walking very, very slowly... lol) My tissue is firm, and I originally had almost no breast fat, so I think that made it harder
Day 4, Day 5 My back and shoulders hurt so much that I woke up several times at dawn I didn’t know sleeping only straight on my back could be this miserable My back hurt more than my breasts I think it was because the bed was hard and made me stiff (after that day, I bought a soft topper, and then I slept without waking up even once ^_^) Mornings were the hardest, and it became more tolerable as evening came
Day 6 Because I had to go to work the next day, I got my stitches removed one day early I was scared, but I was so happy because it didn’t hurt at all when they removed the stitches The nurse took photos for the director to check They readjusted the size of the compression bra and I was freed from the upper bandage Hallelujah Got Caps, SmartLux, and oxygen care My appetite came back, so I ate very well too There wasn’t any pain, just that my arm range of motion wasn’t free? About the level of ordinary muscle soreness?
Day 7 Only felt a liiittle stiff in the morning Got better quickly Went to work Daily life is all possible There’s still upper fullness and it’s still tight, but I have a feeling it’ll look pretty once the swelling goes down >< After 1 week, it gets rapidly, rapidly, rapidly better I just hope time passes quickly so I can be at the 1-month mark haha
