I usually only lurk, but I got quite a lot of information from everyone here, so I’m posting a review. First, in my case, when looking for a clinic, I mainly checked whether cases similar to mine had turned out well. I had about 3 places on my list, and among them, I ended up having surgery at the place that explained my needs and the plan thoroughly during the consultation. I’m currently 1 month post-op. I had 2 types of functional nose surgery, the nasal bridge, and the nasal tip. Septal cartilage was used for the bridge, ear cartilage was used for the tip, and I had correction of the nasolabial angle and columella. The dorsal hump had really bothered me, so that was also operated on. Because of my bulbous nose, I also had cartilage reduction done together. Some people get filler before surgery, but if you’re thinking about nose surgery, I really don’t recommend filler. Removing filler is one thing, and they say filler gets absorbed, but I feel like some of it always remains. Anyway, for the nose itself, I wanted a natural-glam to glamorous line, and although there’s still a little minor swelling after surgery, I like that the line itself looks smooth and sleek. I also like that the nasal tip has a slightly rounded vibe, and I’m satisfied because there’s no slight drooping of the tip or anything like that. My satisfaction with the surgery and the consultation itself is on the high side.
